This month I had the opportunity to participate in a Hackathon with the Vanguard UK CRM Team. Using the Power Platform and AI Builder, we were able to prototype a functional solution that attracted the attention of the judges and persuaded them to get awarded with the first international place 🥳
The client experience is a key value in the Vanguard Client Service team. Customers can call, send an email or a secure message to resolve their enquires. The team processes these interactions constantly and response as soon as they can. But understanding and classifying each communication can be consuming.
Here is where we saw an opportunity for our hackathon proposal. Using AI Builder, Power Automate and Power Apps, we were able to categorise messages and route them to the right team automatically in near real-time, which would save them a fair amount of time.
The prototype and our pitch were developed in 13 hours, being a great team-effort between business and technology colleagues 👏
